Peter Armstrong began piping in 1998 with lessons from PM Sandy Jones.  Since joining the band in the Fall of 1998, he participated in many critical events in our history, including the debut of the Charleston Police tartan and two championship seasons.  He has served as Pipe Major in our Grade 5 unit, twice, as well as a number of other leadership and teaching positions to date.

Upon retiring from a career of teaching, he purchased a Scottish goods store, opening the High Country Scottish Shoppe and Pipe Band Supply soon after, so be sure to hit him up if you're in the market for import goods related to Scots culture or in need of uniform, piping or drumming supplies.   He is also a proud Navy retiree and University of Michigan graduate who is sure to play you "Anchors Aweigh" or "The Victors" upon request!
